Anton Edelshtein’s current work centers on research‑driven object design and immersive spatial experiences, grounded in a rhizomatic methodology that conceives of objects as dynamic, open systems shaped by context. His MA project, Extainer, deconstructed familiar everyday objects to reveal their peripheral and negative spaces, allowing new relational and affective interactions to emerge. Through this approach, Edelshtein frames objecthood as an evolving field of potential rather than a fixed form.
Earlier in his career, he founded OMTURA, a sculptural leather bag label that garnered international recognition. It earned a solo exhibition at Tel Aviv’s Periscope Gallery and was shown at Paris Fashion Week 2016. Edelshtein studied textile design at Shenkar College and has exhibited his work in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Israel and other locations.
